The Lakeside Wooden Boat Society

Dear Wooden Boat Enthusiast, It is time once again for the Lakeside Wooden Boat Show. This year’s show is Sunday, July 13th from noon- 5 pm. Once again we will have unlimited space on the front lawn of the historical Hotel Lakeside and limited space at the dock, waves permitting.

This year’s show will once again coincide with the Ohio Plein Air Artist Show and Sale. This is a 3 day event this year with 40 artists from across the state. They will be painting throughout Lakeside and during the boat show. Attached is this year’s winning poster for you to enjoy and to share with others. As always, if you know of any others who might be interested in attending the show please forward my email to them or have them call me to register.

We are going to try to register everyone on line this year. I have most of your information if you have shown with us in the past. If you are planning to attend and we HOPE you are, please drop me a line on my email or give me a call. If you are bringing a different boat this year please update me with your new information.

Again this year your registration is free and Lakeside is graciously giving every exhibitor 2 free gate passes that will be available at the Second St. gate the morning of the show. Lakeside has also added food service in the park for this years show. What other boat show takes such good care of you??

We are still firming up the details, but the Cleveland Model Boat Club will be joining us this year. They will set up on the lawn and also be doing in water demonstrations at the dock! Also, the United States Coast Guard will be bringing their 32’ Cutter to the docks and will give tours! We are thrilled to have these two wonderful additions. Love those guys in uniform!
